Please note that the Recreational Class Program is designed for students interested in having fun, learning new skills, and being involved in an athletic activity.  They are not competitive in nature and do not require students to purchase special equipment or uniforms.

Mom & Me (18mo. – 3 yrs):  This class is designed for parent/child interaction in a fun-filled environment.  It will explore the very basics of gymnastics, promoting balance and coordination while introducing toddlers to working in a group environment.  (45 minutes)

Pre-School (3 yrs – 5 yrs):  Children learn basic gymnastics skills in a playful atmosphere, filled with positive reinforcement and successful experiences.  The development of self-esteem through successful completion of tasks along with promotion of strength, flexibility and coordination are central to the pre-school curriculum.  (60 minutes)

Recreational Classes (5 yrs and up):  Our recreational program is designed to develop coordination, strength, flexibility and agility through progressive gymnastics skills for beginner and intermediate gymnasts.  Children will learn new skills on vault, beam, floor, bars and trampoline.  Each child experiences success and individual accomplishment with each new skill learned.  As students progress, they can be moved to more advanced classes that will enhance their skills even further.  (60 minutes)

Advanced Recreational Classes (5yrs and up):  An extension of the recreational program for gymnasts who have progressed through the beginner and intermediate skills.  (60 minutes)

Boys Recreational Classes (5 yrs and up)Our recreational program is designed to develop coordination, strength, flexibility and agility.  Our boy’s recreational program is not designed for the competitive gymnast.  Boys will learn new skills in vault, floor, bars, and trampoline along with skills in tumbling.  (60 minutes)

Tumbling Classes (5yrs and up):  Geared for students who wish to try out for competitive cheerleading squads or students who do not wish to learn skills on bars, beam or vault; our tumbling classes focus on skills required in many competitive programs such as round-offs, backhandsprings, and back flips.  Skills are learned through a variety of drills on progressive equipment and spotting techniques.  (60 minutes)

Acro Classes (5yrs and up):  Our Acro classes are designed for children involved in dance, drill teams, and baton twirling.  Skills learned in these classes focus on flexibility and liquid movements and include aerials, front/back limbers, front/back walkovers, and other skills that can easily be incorporated into dance routines. (60 minutes)
